This is because the email provider does not allow you to use POP3.

You will need to go to Menu > Accounts and add the account again using the Automatic Setup. This will add the account as IMAP. When that is done, move any message from the POP3 folder to the IMAP folders, then remove the POP3 account from eM Client.

I suggest before you do anything, you make a backup using Menu > Backup. Then if you make a mistake, you can always restore and start again.
