Password denied

Whenever I pull up Emclient, it asks for a password. None I have used will work. I went through the instructions on how to change it which I did,and it allows me to set a new password BUT it doesn’t accept the change when I again pull up emclient?? And it will not let me repeat the process - says I’m trying too early since last change. Too, I’ve also gone to Menu > Accounts in emclient and see that NO password is listed, so I entered one but once again it refuses to accept that new password. Wondering why it was blank in the first place. I am totally befuddled. Please HELP!!

Go to Menu > Accounts.

If this account has an IMAP tab, the best option will be to remove the account then add it back again by clicking on Add Account and entering the email address in the automatic setup.
