I am having an issue settings up an Outlook.com mailbox within emclient.
I must say that it used to work flawlessly and I haven’t used the program in a while. Has Microsoft changed the parameters on Outlook connections?
I am getting an error message:
We’re unable to complete your request
unauthorized_client: The client does not exist or is not enabled for consumers. If you are the application developer, configure a new application through the App Registrations in the Azure Portal at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2083908.
Does anyone have any input on this?

I did a couple of things when i couldn’t get my Outlook.com account to work with EM Client V7 with weird errors. I had 2 Step verification enabled in my Microsoft account as well.
I updated to latest EM Client V8 Beta via the following page. If you do to test the Beta, Backup your current version via Menu / File / Backup incase you need to restore it again.

Note:- When i added the account in EM Client V8 Beta i used the normal Wizard and just entered my Outlook.com email address and Microsoft App password below (if you have 2 step enabled at Microsoft). Also when asked if you want to use encryption in EM Client near end of wizard setup choose “No” & finish.
I also had to add an “App Password” via the following Microsoft page to use instead of my normal Outlook.com password which then worked perfectly with 2 Step.
