Outbox problem

I have mail in outbox, ready to send. How do I send it?

It should send automatically. If not, click the Refresh button.

If it still does not send, go to Menu > Tools > Operations, and look for any SMTP errors in the Log tab.

Normally it should have automatically sent the email after a short time in the outbox. It’s only if there is eg: large file attachments where email might stay in the outbox for a bit till they are automatically sent depending on the attachment size & speed of your internet upload connection. Try clicking refresh at the top left to force sending again.

If it still doesn’t send, move it to your drafts folder and open / dblclick it and send it again. If still won’t send, move it back in the drafts folder and try sending another eg basic test email to see if anything will send. If another email sends ok, then you know there is some issue with that specific email.

If no email will send & everything gets stuck in the outbox, then another program on the computer might be possibly interfering or delaying email sending. Eg: If you have any optional Antivirus program or similar try disabling them as might possibly be delaying your email sending if it’s antivirus scanning before sending.

The odd thing is that mail continues to come in, but the four items in my outbox still sit there. Could there be some problem with a password setting on my account? I changed my AOL pw Friday, so is there a way to change it on eMclient that I am missing?

I just worked out the problem. Found out how to synch SMTP with my new password.
