Hallo, leider werden ausgehende Mails nicht im Ordner “gesendete Objekte” abgelegt.
Ich kann eine entsprechende Einstellung nicht finden.

It depends on the server.
Some will create the messages themselves and place them in the Sent folder, but with others the server doesn’t do that. In which case you will have an option in Menu > Accounts, then in the General tab for the account, that you can tick.

Well, you may be looking in the wrong folder. The Sent folder is called “Gesendete Elemente” if you have set the UI to German, not “Gesendete Objekte” and it will have a distinctive icon next to it.
