Only quote highlighted text when replying

I’m an ex-Thunderbird user who is very happy about switching to eM Client, but there is one feature from Thunderbird that I really miss: if you highlight text in an email and press reply, only the highlighted text is quoted in your reply instead of the whole email.

It was such a useful feature and I didn’t realise how much I used it until it wasn’t there. It’s the one thing missing from eM Client that would make it almost perfect for me. I notice that quite a few others have also requested this feature, so I thought I would add my voice to theirs.

Excellent idea, I miss that feature too!

Me to…$50+ is a lot not to have this

ALSO MISSING… IS THE SIGN THAT LETS YOU KNOW YOU HAVE REPLIED TO A MESSAGE… WITHOUT CLICKING IT FIRST

Yes, you have my vote. It is one thing I used constantly in Thunderbird, and it is becoming a chore to manually prune quoted text every time.

This is already there. In the message list, there should be small arrows to the left of the message recipient/subject that indicate if the message has been replied to or forwarded.
