Have been running the Android APK for the past week or so. Generally there have been real improvements in the speed of syncing emails - great.
I’m exeriencing a minor problem in the Calendar app - despite accepting ics invitations, they do not automatically load in to the calendar (yes, these are emails landing in my ‘icloud’ email inbox) - no problem in the desktop version of the client??
I’d like to see one additional feature to mimic BB Hub and Inbox - please give us the option to delete an email from the inbox WITHOUT deleting it from the server. I do my ‘filing’ when I’m in front of my laptop or desktop - not on my mobile.
- please give us the option to delete an email from the inbox WITHOUT deleting it from the server
If you have an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account you carn’t delete it locally without also deleting it from the server end, due to the nature of these type of Cloud mail accounts.
You are basically reading the server directly with all your devices like a window if you like.

There is a new just released V10.3.1698 in the Playstore you can download if you haven’t already, that is also improved that might help with the Calendar.
If you have already got this version and still the same Calendar issue, then email [email protected] to let them know.
Will check on the version, thanks. But on the email deletion - BlackBerry Hub and Inbox allow me to delete icloud/gmail/office 365 emails without them coming off their respective servers (they are still in my desktop version of EM Client when I get back to my desk. If BlackBery can do it - there must be a way for you to achieve the same
The blackberry hub then must be a special type of server or optional server software that allows then that to happen with icloud/gmail/office 365 accounts. So they are still storing it in the cloud Inbox as a eg: copy that’s then still available later.
eM Client is only a mail client that reads remote mailboxes and syncs remote messages locally, but is not a mail server to do that type of thing".
Do any of your other mail clients allow you to delete mail from the Inbox without deleting it from the server end? with IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud accounts. I’ve personally never seen a client do that, apart from using old eg: POP accounts where you can set the mail client to leave a copy of Inbox messages on the server for up to X days before server Inbox deletion.
Sorry delayed reply…no, other clients do not offer this facility (you can arrange it in Fairmail) - maybe BlackBerry (and Fairmail) are just way ahead in their setup.
I’ve just added EM Client to a Motorola Razr 50 Ultra and most concerning is that there is only a blank screen when I select the ‘settings’ tab. I installed the app from the Playstore and then migrated email accounts via QR Code - all succesfully - but obviously not having any option to adjust settings is going to be a major issue. Any ideas?
Maybe power cycle your mobile “if you haven’t already tried”, and then see if the app Settings will open.
If power cycling your mobile still won’t open Settings, then suggest to email [email protected] for Beta support and let them know what Droid OS you are running.
There was a bug that caused exactly this on flip/fold phones. Please try again the latest beta.
No joy I’m afraid - have reinstalled the version showing in the playstore - 10.3.1720 and still a blank scren when selecting settings. For info, I’m using the QR migrate process and installing 5 email accounts, 4 x IMAP (1 x iCloud and 2 x Gmail accounts) and 1 x Exchange.
Wird es auch die Möglichkeit geben eine grafische Anpassung wie in der Desktopversion zu vollziehen, bzw. Die Darstellung zu übernehmen?
I have this issue as well on my Samsung Flip5 and it’s still an issue in the latest version from PlayStore
Also, the Calendar-view is blank in the same way, is that a know bug as well?
Funny thing I tested… For those of you that have tried foldables… when closing the phone a little bit the split screen becomes divided into a trackpad with some buttons at the bottom and the phonescreen on the top part. When I had emClient open and closed a little bit, I got the icon to activate this and when doing that, in the split screen mode, Calendar and Settings works just fine…
Don’t know if this info helps but there it is.
Works as it should with the new release now
Well done!
