One of my gmail folders is not showing any mails in the all inboxes section. The folder is there but it is always marked empty even when there are definitely emails there. If I go down to the sub folder for that email the inbox again shows empty but the All Mail section shows all the emails including the ones unopened in the inbox. ??? It was working OK until the last update. 10.4.4867 (a1d5549) - Windows 11. I tried right clicking the folder and selecting repair or categorize but nothing restores the emails into the inbox from the all mails sub folder.
When you go to Gmail All Mail folder and see the missing emails in there, check “in the top right of each email” that the the Tag / Label all have Inbox . If they don’t have the Inbox Tag / Label, then add the Inbox Tag to the email and it will then show in the Gmail account Inbox and All Inboxes.
If they already have the Inbox Tag / Label on those in All Mail, then you might have those emails in “Other Inbox Categories” such as eg: Promotions, Social, Other etc as per the eM Client Categories blog and can then be either moved back to the Primary Inbox tab or can be disabled if you don’t want Categories.
Next if those emails are also not in other Gmail Inbox Categories and have the Inbox tag, then check online in that specific Gmail account that those emails are definitely showing in your Inbox.
If they are showing ok in your Inbox online via webmail and its a IMAP Gmail setup, then “if the Repair to the Gmail All Mail folder via Properties” still doesn’t show them in your Inbox or All Inboxes, then i would suggest to “remove and re-add that Gmail account” if you haven’t already tried via the automatic account wizard via “Menu / Accounts” .
Or alternatively if you have been making regular eM Client backups, you could restore a recent backup and any new emails since the backup will update in that account folder when eM Client reconnects.
