How can get rid of the old inbox?
I presume you have duplicate accounts with the same Inbox.
To remove a duplicate account using the mobile, “press and hold your finger on the account” on the left panel and select “Account Settings”.
Or alternatively “press the menu at the top left” and select “Settings”. Then go down to accounts and open your duplicate account.
Then at the top right of the account “press the 3 dots” and you will see a “Remove” option.
Thanks. I was not sending messages. The Outbox was holding all attempts. “Start all over again”. That had limited success, but still ended up with a ghost account. I am still working on finding the 3 dots, but will not be defeated

3). Next “open your email account”.
4). Then “press the 3 dots” at the top right.
