Old eM Client account is gone!

Yesterday I went on computer to check my e-mail and I kept getting message that I needed password but my password wouldn’t work. Today I look and it has gone! So I set up this new account but I don’t understand where my old account went to or why I couldn’t get into it.
Any help would be appreciated. I need that account and calendar!

That could have just been a eg: mail server problem with your mailbox caused by possible server outage so not accessible at the time causing a password box prompt, or possible something may have changed at the server end with the way your server mailbox authenticates the username and password.

So suggest “if you haven’t already removed your old account in eM Client”, then first thing would be to go to your webmail login via your browser and make sure you can login ok with your username and password. Also check with your server mailbox technical support to make sure they haven’t changed anything as far as how you login via a mail client authentication and mail server settings etc.

Now “if you can login to your webmail via a browser” and “your server technical support say nothing has changed”, then we would normally need to know your “incoming mail server settings” via “Menu / Accounts”. Blank out anything personal. Also what mail account provider you are with to check.

However if you have already removed your old account in eM Client, then your only option would be to try and restore an eM Client backup if you have been doing those regularly either manually or automatically. To restore a recent backup, click “Menu / File / Restore” (Pc) or “File / Restore” (Mac).

Today I look and it has gone! So I set up this new account but I don’t understand where my old account went to or why I couldn’t get into it.

Could possible be that eg: You computer profile user login has possible changed so when eM Client opened there was no account and was only a setup new email wizard like a brand new user profile. So dblcheck that you are definitely logged into to your usual computer login profile.
