Something just cropped up on a relatively new machine AFAIK no spyware or other shenanigans.
The imported eM Client db is much older than the rig though, and contains some older emails stored in special folders with correspondence to and from a site (InactiveSite.com) which is now parked or inactive. Apart from an enquiry last year (edit: a copy still remains in a Drafts folder which could be a thing), haven’t referred to those emails in quite some years.
Just last night came across this site:
BIMI DNS Record Example | MailTester
And then navigated to https://mxtoolbox.com and tested my domain.
Never used Bimi. That’s it.
Just after boot today there came in:
Name resolution for the name default._bimi.InactiveSite.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded. Client PID EMC.
Not a real issue - just curious though - does eM Client do link checks of its stored folder content or anything with the browser cache at all?
