I am finding that notifications for tasks that are marked as complete still come up until they are “dismissed”. I would expect that the notification would stop once the task is marked as complete, either in the task detail windows (using the Status drop-down list) or by marking the status check-box in the “Tasks” panel. Is this a bug, and if so, is there any plan to address it?
