Every time I start the program, or if the program is open and I open my laptop the notification sound goes off incessantly for a couple of minutes, most of the time not even finishing the sound before it starts a repetition of it. I have to kill the sound on my laptop until I know that it’s done doing this. Very annoying!
Might be eM Client checking for new mail on startup or when its checking for new mail when open.
You can test by muting the Incoming mail notification icon.
If you have the Windows EMC ver, go to “Menu / General / Notifications” and click the “Speaker” to Mute it.
Then click “Apply & Ok” and close and re-open eM Client and see if the sound stops. If it does you can either leave it muted or change that .wave sound to a differant / quieter one.
