Notification push android

Hi
when i delete emails from my gmail account on my windows pc and i launch emclient on my android tablet, i notice that my gmail account refreshes and it deletes the deleted messages on my windows pc but i also notice that it does not delete ALL the messages on android, it only deletes some of them.

if i understand correctly, it is the push notification that takes care of the updates but it seems that this is not 100% operational

If you have eM Client on your desktop and Android with a Gmail IMAP account and delete email via either app both should sync exactly the same provided the Gmail server mailbox has updated.

What version of eM Client Desktop and Mobile Droid app are you using ?

Also when you open the Android mobile app, how long are you waiting ?

The push notification has nothing to do with synching or deleting mail. That just notifies you of new mail where if you then press the notification it downloads and opens the email in the mobile app.

Hi,
eM Client Desktop = 10.3.2412
Mobile Droid = 10.3.2269

When I delete a message on desktop:

if the app is running on Android, the update is immediate

if the app is not running on Android and I launch it, the update takes a few seconds and the message is deleted

but in the latter case, I have noticed that some messages were not deleted, but this happened on slightly older versions on both platforms

If the Android mobile app “is not running and completely closed” and you delete a message using the Desktop client" and you then open the Android app, you won’t normally see the message instantly deleted on the mobile app, as the mobile app “has to then connect and sync the changes from the mail server”. So that might take a little while “depending on how many mobile account messages and message folders it has to check on the server”.

Same goes for the Desktop client if you delete a message on the Android app and the Desktop client is completely closes, then it can also take time to connect and sync those changes.

eg: In my own case that can be aprox 1-2mins to sync the same deletion or other message changes either way due to i have eg: alot of IMAP accounts and alot of message folders.

Indeed, after further testing, I noticed that I have to refresh several times for the update to take place on my Android.
