Notification panel buttons and opening behaviour

Hi, it would be lovely to have “delete” and “mark as read” available instead of the 3 current buttons in the notification popup.
And also a way to open the main program window when i click on the notification, instead of the specific email opening in a new window.

Thank you!

2nd this.

Note that on a Mac the notification pop up does nothing when clicked on.

Yep. This sucks.

I just figured it out.

It’s because of this setting at the bottom (the two check boxes) that make no-sense in a macOS environment. Basically, if you check the one to hide the notification popup, you still get macOS notifications but clicking on them does nothing.

If that option is not checked, it works as expected in macOS…clicking an incoming notification in the macOS notification area opens eM Client.

That said, in neither case do I ever see a built-in eM Client pop-up window.

@Zuilin where exactly are these 2 check boxes? eMClient settings / Notifications? I dont see any check boxes there?

Turns out I was wrong. It doesn’t seem to matter what settings I have picked. VIP support is looking into this.

I believe this has been fixed in the latest release. At least when a Mac notification pops up and you click it, eMClient now opens up instead of it doing nothing at all.
