Notification missing on android phone

I am using android system. The app worked fine until recently the notification from top status bar is missing. The apps will not auto check emails and every time i will have to launch the app to receive emails. There has been no changes to my phone notification settings. All notifications have been allowed.
The only thing that has been changed is that android system has rolled up an update and this app is clearly broken.

I also had that same notification problem “all of a sudden not appearing at the top or on the lock screen” with my Droid mobile using OS13 and the latest eM Client app released recently. Even restarting the phone didn’t make any difference…

So I went in Android OS to Settings / App management / Google Play Services. Then “cleared the cache”.

Also in app management went to the eM Client app and “cleared the cache”.

Then “restarted the mobile phone” and opened the eM Client Droid app and “disabled and reenabled” push notifications in my email account. Then closed the eM Client app completely.

I then started to get all the notifications again. Hopefully that might help you get it working.

Note: If you get Droid OS messages saying to optimize eM Client, ignore that as that could also cause issues with notifications not working.
