Hello, I see a mail folder : unread mails. When I read them they disappear afterwards. What is that folder and where do the mails go, I can’t find them anywhere. Can anyone help me?
Once you have read the email in the Unread folder it will then “only show in the original account folder location”. It’s not surposed to show the read mail.
So after you have read the email, if it’s a new email and you have no rules setup to automatically move new email to specific folders, then the read mail will normally be showing in your Account Inbox or Global All Inboxes at the top left under Favourites.
Now if you have eM Client V10 and “Categories enabled”, and don’t see the read email in your Primary Inbox tab, then “look to the right of your Primary inbox tab” as the read mail then will be in another Inbox tab such as eg: Other, Promotions, Social, Updates depending on the type of mail Account.
You can also see if you have Categories enabled by going to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Categories”.
Lastly if your new read message “is not showing in either your Inbox, All Inboxes or any Category Inbox tabs”, then you might have a rule setup to move new mail to specific mail folders when they arrive. You can check that via “Menu / Rules”.
