Not able to receive of get emails from Verizon email account

I have properly revised the proper setting to the Verizon POP3 and SMTP settings, but am not able to sent or receive email after initial setup.  The one potential issue is whether to use “Use SSL/TLS if available” or “Force usage of SSL/TLS” since Verizon requires SSL.  Any suggestions?

I think that Verizon recommends ports 995 for POP3 and 465 for SMTP.

In that case choose Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
