No Sound When New Message Arives

I set a sound to paly when new email messages arrive.
I was changing things to prevent the popup notification.
Whatever I did the sound doesn’t play anymore when ne mail arrives.
In fact, I’m unable to change the sound file for ‘Incoming mail.’ (it’s disabled).
Not sure how to get this back.

Any help wil be appreciated,

I have sound enabled on the mac version and it still doesn’t play a sound for incoming message.
