The Windows Store version is quite a few releases behind. Maybe try the regular version which you con download from the Release History. There was a version 7 release just this past week.
I’ve started having this problem as well, I’m not getting notifications for calendar events. I see the notifications for email and some of my events, but not all of them.
I checked the event itself, and notifications are turned on, set to 15 minutes.
