no Mails after unsuccessful backup

I wanted to back up my database, but now my emails (from 3 accounts) are missing from EM Client. I can’t retrieve my emails, but they’re supposedly in the mail_data.dat file (5GB), though I can’t import them. Please help!

Do you have any previous eM Client backup.zip files or backups of your hidden database folder ?

If you do have previous backup.zip files or backups of your hidden database folder you can then restore your emails via following the blog below. Any new emails since the restore will then update when eM Client recconects.

If you don’t have any previous backups and no copies of your hidden database folder, then if you have a current active paid Pro, Personal or Business version, go to the VIP support page and login and lodge a support ticket for assistance.

No, I just have the destroyd Database and the mail_data.dat for each of my accounts. I restored the old pst file and have accepted that the last 20 days of emails are lost. Very frustrating, right after switching to EM Client :confused:
