New ex Postbox User - How do I

I just was forced to eM Client one could say - so with the 50% discount lets give it a try.
OK everything is different, but I am willing to search the settings to find answers but still I have topics I cant find a solution.
So please:

I imported about 10 years of old emails and lot of them have the NotJung tag - and I didn’t find a way to get that away.
I don’t need that, I don’t want that - how can I deactivate this?
I read your advice to create a rule for new messages - but I am not doing that!
I have thousands of OLD emails and I just DONT EWANT it - so where is the SWITCH to NOT DISPLAY that tag?

I was able to deactivate the Avatar in the columns, but still the Avatar is shown in all emails - maybe you guys like this colourful nonsense but I don’t.
HOW do I deactivate Avatars being shown in general in all of my postboxes and even my thousands of imported old emails?

Next question.
As I am GERMAN where can I set that the date of emails is displayed like “Di Sep 03” or “Jan 25” - instead just confusing numbers?

Fellow Postbox migrant here. Not sure what to tell you about the tags, but I’m pretty sure I found date and time…somewhere. Or at least the ability to turn off relative dates. Maybe the date format is following my system settings. Either way, I can’t find that setting now, so maybe I was thinking of another app. I’m replying here to revitalize this thread so hopefully someone will answer.

The NonJunk tag is usually something apps like Thunderbird (And Postbox most likely as well, since it’s based on it) use for adaptive spam filtering, to learn from you which messages are junk and which aren’t, they then hide this specific tag from view.

Since the tag looks like any other custom tag, we show it by default. But we have added feature to remove or hide it in eM Client 10.1

Go to Menu>Rules
Open Local rules.
Create a new rule and set it just to this:
After message has been received
hide tags ‘NonJunk’ (you can click the “hide tags” argument and then type in your own tag name).

Once you save the rule, you can apply it to all folders manually to hide it on all OLDER emails.

You can also leave it enabled so the tag is hidden on any new messages that come in, in case you open the email account in another app that uses this tag.

Date format is taken from your system (so make sure you have your region set correctly).

You can also set eM Client to show full date and time in Meu>Settings>Mail>Read down in Message list setting instead of the short version.

As for avatars - avatars from your contacts would still be shown in Message detail, but you can disable avatars from external sources in Menu>Settings>Contacts, uncheck “Download avatars from external sources” and save this change.
You can also turn off showing monograms.

Then you will just have the default gray image and not other colors:

How are the dates appearing for you? I’m using MS-Windows and em client is displaying dates in the standard format of yyyy-mm-dd which I think reflects my MS-Windows settings.
