New emails not being directed into ‘unread’ category

If new Inbox emails in eM Client are appearing as read and don’t show in your unread folder, that usually means another device configured with the same account has already read them on the server end,

This is common if you have an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account and are checking and reading mail with multiple devices.
