It seems to me that there is a significant number who are preferring to remain with version 7; some, like me, even for the longer term. Looking at new posts it’s not clear which version the poster is referring to these days although I am sure most are for v8. It would help if, perhaps, a new category for v7 could be introduced so that posts about v7 could be easily identified as such. What does the team think?

That would be for emClient to admit that v8 is a massive fail were that to happen - never going to happen if they are in control of the categories

@Paul23 Sad, but I tend to agree.
That said, if we cannot get a “v7 and earlier” category, perhaps it would help if users posting problems made it explicit what version and what platform they were using when posting their requests for help. (eg, “Windows 10, v7.2.40748.0”)

You may be right. I have opened a support ticket requesting a ‘Don’t show me again’ check box for the upgrade box appearing at every startup of v7. We’ll see how they respond to that.
