Network path

I’ve got a client with several Workstations. While using IMAP, I’d like to use the Auto Archive. Since they all have private folders on the server; is it advisable and/or does it make sense to change the folder to a server located path, so it gets backed up within the normal Server Backup routine?

Or is there anything against using a non standard path for DB?

Hello,

We do not suggest putting database outside local storage (by that we mean HHD/ssd in pc where is eM Client installed), eM Client’s database is not designed for to be put on server located storage, it can work, but very often it leads to broken and Irrepairable.
is my answer good enough for you?
