Can i create a search with a negative query such as:
Find emails with Category ‘A’ but not Category ‘B’?

That is unfortunately not possible. What you could do however is to sort the results by Category, which would contribute to easier navigation.

thats exactly what i need to do. I have items tagged with ‘Action: To Do’, once complete i tag them with ‘Action: Complete’
