I am trying to back-up my entire database so I can move to another PC (current one is dying quickly) but I get error em client error “object reference not set to an instance of an object” and it will not back up. HELP! I am at jeopardy of losing all of my email history.
HI Kimberly, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? Also please try to run this utility http://www.emclient.com/tools/dbrepairrebuildall.exe and let the database check finish.
In case there are any errors found, this utility should try to repair the corrupt items, as backup can not run in case the database is corrupt.
