My friend dropped her laptop and it is in bits. She wasn’t able to close down eMclient. Will I have trouble when I set it up on her new laptop? i.e. will it tell me that she can only have it on one computer? If so how do I tell them that the other computer is broken?

As soon as you activate her license on the new device, the old one will automatically deactivate, even if it is in bits.
