My Win 11 PC had fatal crash and had to re-install Win 11. Need to somehow get emClient back onto new Win 11

The fatal Win 11 crash came suddenly without time to manually uninstall any apps, so I don’t know if I have any installs of emClient left (I think I only used 2 installs so far, but not sure). Will be happy to pay for another license if needed, but so far no resonse from Kate Taylor on email sent to her. Thanks for your advice

If you had to reinstall eM Client and have a Pro or Personal non business free or paid license, if you enter the same license key it will usually automatically deactivate any old device installation with that same key and then automatically activate your same key on your current installation.

If it doesn’t then suggest to email [email protected]

If you have a Business Pro license or a valid Partnership Program account you have access to the License Manager where you can login and manually deactivate any old device license.

If you we’re making regular eM Client backups on another internal or external hard disk or cloud drive prior to the crash, install the same version of eM Client via either the release history page for Windows or Mac or Windows store if you originally installed it from there. Then once installed “skip the setup wizard” and restore you backup via “Menu / File / Restore” and select your last dated recent backup.zip file which should then have the same license key & already be activated.

You can also restore eM Client from a backed up hidden folder database if you backed up your user profile prior to the crash and didn’t have any dated backup.zip files. See the following eM Client page on the various options to restore.
