You can export all your e-mails as .EML files to a folder on your hard disk.

Your new e-mail program should then import all those .EML files.

It is just easier for me to go back to using the web portals for my email.

Hi Stephen sorry to hear this, did you have any issues while using the application? You shouldn’t be forced to export your mails if you want to go back to using webmail, all your emails should already be on the server, unless you were using a POP3 account with automatic deletion from the server.
