My emails are no longer downloading via the POP3 server. Outgoing mails work fine. Can anybody help with this? I even uninstalled my virus scanner, thinking this was interfering, but it’s made no difference…and I’ve now lost my virus scanner.

Sorry, I did not see the other post you made with your server name.
Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts.
On the POP3 tab for your account, change the host to mail.btinternet.com , and the other settings as in the screenshot below. See if that helps.

However, I have now resolved the problem by changing the host to pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk . That’s done the trick.
