It always seems to delete everything back to the same point - an e-mail dated 3.12.2013 which suggests that it is losing the sync point somehow. It is getting so bad that I am not far from finding a new client - shame as happy so far. The release is 6.0.21040.0 Thx
Hi, what mail service are you using in eM client? Are you using an Airsync account?
Are you seeing any errors from the application, possibly during the resync?
Thank you,
Paul.
I’m using Outlook.com with server setting m.hotmail.com . I’m not sure if it supports Airsync - I do get a lot of error messages though.
Thanks,
Peter
Hi again Peter, what kind of error messages, can you make a screenshot of such error and post it here on the forum?
When the error occurs, can you please switch to the log tab and copy the content of the log and post it here on the forum?
Thank you,
Paul.

![]( “Image null”)My client is now crashing - see screen shot above - which looks like a memory problem. Is there a way to send you logs? I’ve pasted the latest one below: It also sent you a crash report about 20 mins ago. I think it may be a different problem from the sync failure though.

Hi again, I have discussed this issue with the developers, however it seems like your application is trying to upload a large message on the server, which is not allowed.
Try to open the application in “Offline mode”, to do so hold the ctrl button while clicking on the application’s icon and hold the button until you’re prompted to turn the application in offline mode or until it initializes.
You should then be able to find the large message and delete it, however we’re not able to confirm which folder it’s located in, but it’s most definitely an AirSync account.
It should be either in your Sent, Drafts or Trash folder or in your Outbox smart folder (local folder).
If you’re not completely sure, please run a repair on your folders, right click the folder and select Properties > Repair and click on the Repair button. You could also remove the account and recreate it.
Hope this helps,
Paul.
Paul, I followed all your recommendations and even deleted and reloaded my email account. Seemed to be working OK this week then BANG it has just deleted most of my inbox again. This seemed to be caused by me setting up an appointment with an invitee in calendar. I’ve been running logs all week an have pasted the one that was running when this happened. Please help!
This isn’t working either because the log is so large it keeps crashing the browser page. Please can you let me have an e-mail address so I can PM it to you?
Clearly eM are not interested in resolving a major flaw in their product - which has just crashed again wiping out my inbox. As you will see above I have been at pains to apply fixes and provide information, running logs for weeks on end etc. I would have thought this would be valuable to eM as it helps them fix a catastrophic bug in their product, but apparently not! I am now going to find a new client as I can’t rely on eM Client or the company.
Hi again, sorry you feel that way, we’ll be happy to review your logs, just send them to [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.
I’m sorry I was unable to reply sooner, but unfortunately please note eM Client’s free license customers are not entitled to a priority support, if you need priority support you can obtain a PRO license on our website http://www.emclient.com/purchase , that way you’ll be entitled to use priority support at [email protected] or at http://support.emclient.com
Thank you for understanding,
Paul.
