My accounts won´t connect, smtp/imap issue

I’ve started using Emclient, love it so far except that i have connection issues with the mail. I have an email account through transip, a dutch website provider. I’m trying to connect my email with the SMTP and Imap servers, but it keeps disconnecting (and reconnecting and disconnecting). I feel like i’ve tried all settings.
The settings:
Server: smtp.transip.email
Poort: 465
SSL: Force connection SSL (but the other settings also don’t seem to work).
I filled in my details and password correctly.
So not super sure what to do! Could someone help me maybe?

Presuming the correct mail settings, sometimes eg: optionally installed programs can sometimes interfere such as eg: optionally installed firewall / security programs or optionally installed antivirus programs or vpns.

So if you have anything like that installed “other than what comes default with your OS” then try completely disabling those to test incase of interference.

If you have no optionally installed programs like that or if you do but disabling made no difference, then update what your IMAP and SMTP “server address’s, server ports and security policies” are so we can see if there is any obvious errors.

I had a similar issue this week, using SMTP and TransIP. You can contact TransIP’s helpdesk, even during weekends. They will help you. They provided me a temporarily solution, though they’re still investigating for a final solution.
