New outlook is not syncing correctly, Classic Outlook will not sync at all. So I am fed up messing with Outlook.
I have about 10 pst files that I have created when the database gets big. They are about 500-700M so not real big. I create a unique folder under local. I do the import, find that specifc file as a PST file, and then select that new folder to import the data into. I see it chewing on the folders, but when I go to the local folder name, there is nothing there.
I will put several of the recent folders into my current database, but may use Data File Manager to add the older folders into.
Can you perhaps provide a screenshot of the Folder list? Are there perhaps any folders under “More” section?
As an alternate solution, you could use the Data File feature to mount the PST files and then just select and copy the folders you want to have in the “main” database into the desired folders.
I painfully hand created a second pst file in Outlook, then used Data Files to import it. Still not sure why when I select a specfic pst and folder, that it did not import.

I suspect there was an error message within your pst file as you can normally import or drag and drop a .pst file directly onto the left folder list in eM Client to automatically mount or convert it into an eM Client data file format (.emdf).
.I’ve had friends who had some corrupted messages within their .pst files which then caused them not to import. Some of the Outlook messages had weird eg: hieroglyphic characters etc in them.
You can sometimes fix / repair pst files by using the Microsoft Inbox Repair tool Scanpst. If you try this tool, “make a backup of the pst file first”.
