Moving emails between Primary and Other tab

Anyone else having trouble moving messages between the new Primary and Other new subfolders for the Inbox? As far as I can tell there is no way to do this.
I tried drag and drop and also to change category for individual messages. No result.

Marko

I understand how this is supposed to work but it does not. I can’t drag message to another category. It just stays where it is. I also can’t right click on any given message and assign it another category, it simply does not move.

Also, categories offered to move to are not primary and other but Personal, promotions, social, updates, forums and no category.

Thanks,
Marko

You either “drag the message subject” to the category Inbox you want and a popup message will then ask you if you want to move it, or “right click on the subject” and click “category” & then choose the category inbox you want and a popup message will also ask you if you want to move it.

If either way still doesn’t work, then you might have a problem with the actual installation.

So suggest next to first backup eM Client via “Menu / Backup”. Then once backed up, uninstall eM Client and if you have Windows “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard.

Then redownload and reinstall the same version either via the release history page for PC or Mac or Windows Store depending on where you originally installed it from and see if that works.

I think this might be it.

Is everything saved in database, including various customizations, signatures, accounts etc?

If not it might be easier to endure the pain than to re-configure everything.

Yes everything is saved in the database.
