Move to folder using drag and drop stopped working

When I try to drag and drop some email to custom folder, it is copied instead of moved. When I try to move using option from context menu “Move to folder” it works correctly.

I’m using 7.1.31849.0 with Polish email provider.

Can you upgrade to the latest version at and see if the problem persists.

I’m using now 7.1.32088.0 and problem persists.

I tried to reproduce this on two IMAP and one Exchange account. They all moved the emails by drag and drop. I wonder if this is something specific to IMAP accounts.

I think this forum is more centred on finding solutions and discussing ideas rather than making complaints, so it would be best to write to eM Client and directly. There are contact details on their websites.

Thanks for help. I made some research and prepared some logs from situations. I will try to report a bug or something.
On thunderbird it works. In emClient moving to folder also works but only using option from menu ‘Move to folder’

Reporting a bug will definitely help improve the way the application works.

My comment above about the purpose of this forum, does not mean that you cannot report your bug here. Unless you have a Pro License, this is the other option. This forum is also monitored by support staff, and I am sure they will take note of anything you post.

What I meant was that complaints should be directed to eM Client directly.
