When there is a problem connecting (usually to Yahoo which needs a longer timeout) eM Client throws up a modal dialog which takes the focus away from what I am working on. This really isn’t necessary, it should be a non modal dialog that can be dealt with when convenient to the user.

If you wish, you can turn the error notifications off in Menu > Tools > Setting > Notifications.

I am happy with the notifications just don’w want them grabbing focus from what I’m working on!

Unfortunately, the notifications either pop-up on top or they’re disabled. We don’t have any options for them to pop-up on the background.

The pop up needs to be non modal, it.s a standard option in Windows development tools.
