Missing images appear after forward

I’ve been having a problem with images in my own newsletter sent from mailchimp. Images do not appear in my newsletter, in emclient, but do appear in other email clients (like thunderbird), and emclient shows images from all other newsletters just fine.

This month, I had another consultant who uses emclient receive my newsletter and check whether he gets images. He did not, but he assures me that he gets images (after clicking show pictures) for other emails. So, emclient fails on two different machines in two different towns for 1 and only 1 newsletter while displaying properly for other newsletters.

Then I had him try something that worked for me. I asked him to forward as original to himself. As soon as he clicked the forward as original, and the new message window appeared then all the images were there. Not only that, but after cancelling out, without even completing the forward, the images appeared in the original email as well. He then closed emclient and re-opened it, and the original email still showed all the images.

Anyone have any ideas?

I’ll also send this to support. I had exported an email to tech support about this already last month, but they had no problem viewing everything and couldn’t find an issue with my code.

What settings do you have here: Menu ->Settings ->Mail ->Privacy

On the recommended settings. But the problem also appeared:

  1. After creating a brand new empty database with all default settings in a new folder.
  2. In another consultant’s computer
  3. It disappears in the forward as original window, which also resets the original message so it appears correctly, for both me and other consultant.
  4. Images can again disappear after a few days.
