I’m using eM Client 10.4.5606 (58d51c0) with a Microsoft Outlook.com (@outlook.at) account.
My account is configured with:
- IMAP
- SMTP
- AirSync (Calendar & Contacts)
Calendar synchronization works perfectly. I can create, edit and sync calendar events without any issues.
However, when I create a new event and select Microsoft Teams under Video Conference, eM Client displays the following error:
“Default calendar is not recognized.”
The problem is that I cannot find any option in eM Client to define or change the default calendar for Teams.
Things I’ve already checked:
Microsoft Teams is connected in Settings → Video Conferences
Calendar synchronization works
Outlook.com calendar is available
Normal appointments can be created and synchronized
Only Teams meetings fail with the “Default calendar is not recognized” message.
Questions
- Is this a bug in eM Client 10.4.5606? i tried this befoer with older versions?
- Is Teams meeting creation supported for Outlook.com/AirSync accounts?
- Is there a hidden setting to select the default calendar?
- Does Teams require a full Exchange/Microsoft 365 account instead of Outlook.com + AirSync?
At the moment, eM Client tells me that the default calendar is not recognized, but there is no obvious way to define or change the default calendar.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution?
