Microsoft (live) account connection issue

Hey !

I use two accounts and when I try co configure them in eM, one works and the other one doen’t. It is strange because these acounts have very similar settings and have been created at the same place and aproximately on the same time.

Here are some logs :

Of course I removed all the logs related to the working account. I tried to remove the account and add it again with different settings (Exchange…) but nothing works. Here is the error I get (in French, sorry about that :-p) :

Hello Geo,
if the Exchange isn’t working for this account, you’ll need to set it up as IMAP.

To set up your accounts as IMAP, use the New Account option in the Accounts section, but instead of automatic setup choose Mail>Other.
Choose IMAP and set your incoming server as and outgoing as
After the setup finishes, go to the Tools>Accounts window and change the Server policy on IMAP and SMTP tabs to the “Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)” options.


I reconfigured both accounts using your method and now everything works great !
