eM Client 11 beta – Microsoft Graph Archive sync failure stops/delays mailbox synchronization
I am using eM Client 11.0.196-beta+b945a075a5 on macOS with a Microsoft 365 account configured using Microsoft Graph.
My Archive folder contains approximately 33,500 messages. Synchronization repeatedly fails on this folder with:
Synchronizing folder 'Austin - JR Real Estate/Archive' failed due to the following error: Unable to deserialize content.
The log then reports:
Microsoft.Graph.ClientException: Unable to deserialize content
System.Text.Json.JsonReaderException: FoundInvalidCharacter
followed by:
System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException
The problem appears to affect the overall account synchronization cycle. For example, eM Client began synchronizing Archive at approximately 11:16 and did not fail until 11:24, during which normal Inbox synchronization was delayed.
I have already used Folder Properties → Repair on the Archive folder. The repair/resynchronization completed, but the identical error returned afterward.
The Microsoft 365 mailbox and Archive folder operate normally in Outlook.
Is this a known issue with the new Microsoft Graph implementation in eM Client 11? Also, is there currently a way to exclude the Archive folder from synchronization while continuing to synchronize Inbox, Sent, Calendar, Contacts, etc.?
