Messed up setup and ended up with Test as name

Hi Guys,

I have no clue what I did wrong here, but for some reason, after initial setup, my name ended up being “Test” on my account.

And I have no clue where to change it, at least I couldn’t find anything in the account settings.

Here is a screenshot of what I mean:

Any way to correct this? Any help is appreciated.

This is a name saved in a contact, click the ‘Details’ in that pop-up to edit that contact.

“Other contacts” is a special contact folder created by Google that saves your recipients history, they don’t allow changing it from external apps but you can do so in web interface: https://contacts.google.com/other

You can turn off the Other contacts feature in Gmail General settings if you only want to keep contacts you save yourself.

Besides some known contacts, there are some weird addresses, but I can’t find my mail or anything with “Test” in the name…

Also, I’m not sure if I want to disable the option because it sounds nice to have. I need to fix this name issue.

In the default contacts (not other contacts), I found my email, but upon inspection, I couldn’t find the “Test” name anywhere.

I was there already, the list above that I posted is the list “other contacts”. However, I couldn’t find anything.

I’m not sure, but I vaguely remember that this Test name was set when setting up emClient.
