Messages sitting in Outbox

I am using eM Client 6.0 on Windows 7. I am unable to send mails as they just sit in Outbox. I have tried Diagnosis and it generates a Test Message. However, the mails I send still dont go out. I have tried ports 587 as well as 465. Please help.

are there any error messages concerning these messages? Can you try to Send the messages again and then copy the content of Tools > Operations ? Log windows for me here?
