I keep getting this message whenever I try to close eM client. I’ve got 2 email addresses associated with the client and have checked both outboxes and there’s nothing in either of them.
The error just started popping up a couple of days ago, but it’s starting to get on my nerves now as I have to click ‘Send message and close’ ‘Close’ or ‘Cancel’ each time I want to close the program. Admittedly, that’s not a big deal - but it’s an extra thing I now have to do, that I didn’t have to do before!
Normally if they are stuck in the Outbox it is because there is some error sending them.
Click on the down-arrow in the Refresh button and choose Send All. Then if there are still messages in the Local Folder Outbox, you will find the send errors in Menu > Operations > Log tab.
I followed your instructions and then checked the Outbox for both my gmail and hotmail accounts. There was nothing in either outbox. When I checked the Menu>Operations>Log it said everything had been synced.
I test sent 2 emails from hotmail to gmail. Neither of them sent. But they were also NOT in my outbox. So - they didn’t send and also weren’t waiting to be sent. When I tried to close the program, a box popped up telling me that there were now 3 messages waiting to be sent (presumably the one that is always ‘there’ plus the 2 new ones).
I then went directly to outlook/hotmail and sent an email between hotmail and gmail. No problem doing that at all.
