Message in Outbox crashes software

I have a message I tried to send that was too big to be handled by the SMTP server on att.mail.com. Now, every time eM Client updates the incoming and outgoing messages it gives this message: [SMTP]Cannot send message (‘From’ field address ‘[email protected]’ not accepted due to the following reason: “5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size”).

When I attempt to delete the message, it crashes the software. I have not been able to delete the message. It has been doing this for some time. I have reinstalled the software but that has not resolved the issue.

Can you upgrade to the latest version available in the Release History and see if that makes any difference with deleting the message.

I successfully resolved the problem with your advice. The step that seemed to resolve the issue was that I chose to delete the database when uninstalling. Once that was removed, I reinstalled the software and it rebuilt the data, and the problem message seemed to go away.
