Is there a means of combining conversations or individual emails into existing conversations? I’ve tried renaming subjects to match, but that doesn’t do it.
If not, please take this as a request.

You can have messages with different subjects being in the same conversation. It does in some instances, but usually eM Client will use other headers in the message like the message ID rather than the subject to group them, so changing the subject probably won’t have any effect to add them or remove them from the conversation.
And with Google and Exchange servers, the server determines the members of the conversation, not eM Client.
Realistically there is no way to add a message into a conversation without exporting the messages, deleting the originals, and manually editing their headers to make them appear to be related.
Too bad. I researched gmail conversations and found that a message must show “in reply to (message ID)”. Doesn’t seem to be an easy way to edit the headers, which would be cumbersome anyway.
Certainly would be possible to have a function that did alter the header to add/change the “in reply to” line to refer to a chosen email. Ideally applying to several selected emails. Probably never see this.
