Meeting invitations problem with outlook calendar

Hello,

meeting invitations sent with emClient 10.1.4828 (9843340) on MacOS from the Outlook.com calendar appear as empty mail to the recipient on different mail providers and mail clients. When I use Outlook or Apple Calendar everything works fine. Any idea how to fix this?

Hello,
I really like emclient, but it seems to have some issues with M365. I would be very grateful for an answer to the above problem. For me it is important that the calendar works with invitations.
As long as this problem persists, I unfortunately have to resort to alternatives.

Is this a known problem and will it be solved in the next release?

I’m having this problem as well. When I get an invite from someone using Outlook, the event is not automatically added to any of my calendars. I use Fantastical, which supports forwarding such invites to a special email inbox, and will process the event and add it to my calendar for me. But for Outlook invites:

  • Forward: shows the invite headers, but no content
  • Forward as original: completely blank
  • Forward as attachment: Attachment as an .eml seems to contain the content, but Fantastical can’t process it.

I suspect that Outlook is using an iFrame or something inside their email invite because you can click on Accept and the email itself will update to show the change. But not sure why absolutely nothing shows up inside the forwarded email.
