I would like the emails, that i move to archive via the button, to be automatically marked as read.

This would be useful as a setting.
This feature is so urgently needed. I always archive messages without marking them as read. Later I have to search for them to mark them as read. Marking the whole archive folder as read is an alternative method, but that takes a long time because I have several 10,000 emails in the archive folder.
Already available in version 10:
Just right-click on the folder and choose Mark All Messages as Read.

I just became a client as an avid Postbox user for many years, I just tried to enable this in the Preferences and although the box is checked, when I Archive a message before I open it, it does not mark it as read so why would it not be working?
