Now I am noticing all sorts of other keyboard shortcuts that are missing.
One of the best things about postbox was that it was possible to pretty much drive the whole UI without hands leaving the keyboard to use the mouse.
I would strongly suggest studying how Postbox did this and copying much of it over.
For example, one should be able to move between the panes with the keyboard. Some combination of shift, option, command keys and arrows.
