I have a narrow scrollbar in the message list pane but a wide one in the preview pane.
I want them wide so how do I make the one in the message list wide like the other one please? I can’t see anything in settings beyond setting scrollbars to wide, which I have done.

Yes agree the message list scrollbar “should be the same width as the preview window” if you select wide scrollbars in the settings. Another screenshot example with differances.
Thanks for the reply. Maybe it is a defect introduced with version 10? I dumped EMC a year or so ago after constant issues with not synching my Microsoft account. I thought I would try again to see if it has been fixed (don’t know yet…) and so downloaded the latest version.
If it is a bug, i’m sure eM Client devs will fix it. Yes its been like this for sometime.
Interestingly the Mac message list and preview scrollbars are very similar compared to Windows.
It must have been “introduced” with a version within the last year or so as I didn’t use to have it when I last used EMC.
Unfortunately there is no way how to fix it currently. It is caused by Chromium component we use for displaying email messages. The version of Chromium we currently use does not support styling of wide scrollbars (only for narrow ones). With the upcoming version 11 we will start using the most recent version of Chromium where this should be possible.
